Total Joint Replacement, Arthroscopic Surgery, Xiaflex®, Hand Surgery, and More Offered by Experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Richard Gray
Welcome to the website of Dr. Richard Gray, M.D. As a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at Florida Medical Clinic Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Gray provides joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery to patients throughout the region. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, Dr. Gray is skilled not only in performing the latest and most advanced procedures in orthopaedic surgery but also in providing his patients with personalized and attentive care that’s in-tune with their individual needs.
Dr. Gray specializes in innovative orthopaedic techniques and has used them to help countless patients of all ages who are dealing with joint injuries and chronic joint pain. Arthroscopic surgery is one such minimally invasive technique in which a small camera, called an arthroscope, is used to provide real-time images that enable Dr. Gray to examine the joint, confirm a diagnosis, and treat the cause of the underlying joint condition. For individuals with osteoarthritis who have more extensive joint damage, partial or total joint replacement may be the more appropriate option. Dr. Gray has extensive experience in performing total joint replacement, which involves replacing the damaged areas of the joint with a prosthesis to restore joint mobility and alleviate pain.
Dr. Gray also provides minimally invasive hand surgery to treat conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and broken fingers. He also offers Xiaflex®, an injection that can be used to treat Dupuytren’s contracture without an invasive surgical procedure. Whether you’re in need of hand surgery, a hip replacement, or arthroscopic surgery, Dr. Gray can provide you with the care and treatment you need. His experience and dedication as an orthopaedic surgeon have earned him many awards and honors, including Florida Medical Clinic Customer Service Awards in 2007 and 2008 as well as a Medical Hero Award from the Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce in 2014.
